STATEMENT OF QUALITY POLICY


The aim of Schwechater Kabelwerke GmbH is to provide the customer with the products to be delivered in the agreed quality, in the agreed amount and at a reasonable price. The resulting expectations and requirements as well as other technical and business agreements and agreements on dates under the contract will be fulfilled and are intended to contribute to complete satisfaction of the customer.

Management considers it a material task to further the staff's awareness of responsibility and quality and to establish principal rules on responsibilities and procedures for all activities and factors having an impact on quality. Management defines quality targets and evaluates the same on a periodical basis for continuous suitability. At regular intervals management informs itself about achievement of the quality targets, evaluates the QM system and verifies implementation and effectiveness of resolved measures for improvement. Written records are kept thereon.

Management undertakes to apply the QM system described in the MH and to further improve effectiveness of the same on a permanent basis.

The QM officer (QMO) of the top management is Mr. A. Tremmel. The task of quality manager (QM) has  been assumed by Mr. W. Reinisch. The QM is responsible for implementation and maintenance of the QM system and for informing management about the QM system.

Management and the QM shall ensure through example, talks, regular meetings and other suitable measures, such as, e.g., trainings, staff letters and notices, that the quality policy is communicated, understood and observed at suitable levels of the company.

Every person mentioned in the QM Manual and the procedure instructions is responsible for compliance with the regulations established for assuring quality of the products to be delivered in all areas of their responsibility. This includes responsibility of all staff for ensuring compliance within their area of responsibility.

Our staff are actively involved in quality responsibility and in this way every one of them contributes to quality management at his/her respective place. In addition, the staff are asked to co-operate in continuously enhancing the QM system.

All staff have access to the QM Manual, the procedure instructions and other documents.
